A growing city, Beaverton is home to a variety of attractions, family entertainment centers and arts and cultural offerings including the Beaverton Farmers Market – the largest “all- agricultural” market in the area. In recent years, the city has gained recognition in culinary circles and has attracted many foodies to the area with the Beaverton Farmers Market, BG Food Cartel and Restaurant row located right in downtown Beaverton. With so many options to choose from I want to give you my list of the 5 things you should be doing in Beaverton this August.

Feel like getting out in nature but not leaving town? then look no further than the 2 nature parks that are both located inside of Beaverton’s city limits. Boasting miles of trails and various landscapes, there is something there for every member of the family!

Grab a bite to eat at the BG Food Cartel.

The Summer Market features tasting artisan spirits, beer and wine from local producers and on top of that it’s located next to the Beaverton City Fountain which is always a great way to cool off from the summer heat.
